Training
|
At
Chatterbox Farm, we offer several different training programs
which cater to each horse’s individual strengths and weaknesses.
We understand that each horse is different therefore each program
is designed with your horse’s specific needs and character in
mind. We believe that in order to bring out the best in your
horse, variety plays an important role in a horse’s development.
Therefore, we incorporate hacking, free jumping, jumping under
saddle, and lunging using the Pessoa Lunging System into each
horses program. Here are some of the horses currently training at Chatterbox
Farm:

 |
| “Jack”,
born in 2006, is a registered Hanoverian gelding by the stallion
Pablo (Pilot), out of a mare who is by Dressman (Delano). Jack came
to Chatterbox Farm to develop his skills as a young dressage horse
and to become a safe and reliable horse for his owner to enjoy and
eventually show. Jack’s sweet demeanour made him a real gentleman
to have around the barn!
"In
September 2009 I sent my recently started 3 year old gelding, Pirate
(aka Jack) to Chatterbox Farm for further training. Maya and her
staff did an excellent job over the next six weeks extending his
education and training under saddle. While he was there he was
treated like royalty, housed in a giant stall, turned out daily and
fed the best feed (I know this because when I picked him up, he
didn't want to leave). He learned to be a confident, happy youngster
with good ground manners and very responsive under saddle. The
facilities and staff are second to none and I would heartily
recommend Maya and Chatterbox Farm to anyone."
Sincerely,
Lisa Wood
